IE Commuter:  The Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) offers a variety of commuter incentives for ridesharing (which includes telecommute, vanpool, carpool, bus, train, walk or riding your bike), commuter ride-matching assistance, and employer support services.  Visit the IE Commuter website at this link.

Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH):  Worried about ridesharing if you might need to go home suddenly or work late?  Not a problem.  Many employers provide a GRH to those who vanpool or rideshare, by providing a free ride home in the event of an unforeseen emergency, by way of taxi, car rental, or a transportation network company (such as Uber or Lyft).  Talk to your employer rideshare representative or ETC.  Should your employer participate in the IE Commuter GRH Program sponsored by RCTC, a Guaranteed Ride Home program may be available at your worksite.  Click on this link to learn more about the IE Commuter’s GRH program and find out if your employer participates.

Park-and-Ride Lots:  These lots provide parking spaces for commuters to park and meet their vanpool/carpool partners, and most are free.  Some may also offer local transit connections.  Visit IE Commuter at this link to see if a lot is near you to assist as your meeting point for your vanpool group.

Traffic:  Get Real time traffic throughout all of Southern California, including incidents and travel times that will help you to avoid gas-guzzling traffic jams.  View traffic maps and other helpful information at Go511.com and learn other ways that 511 can help you with your daily commute with these tips
